

The Exuberant Varieties of Life
The Life Gallery is the gallery which feature’s the defining exhibit of the museum: The Human Brain. The gallery will feature the exuberance of a living planet in all its forms. It will feature the various habitats that nurture an astonishing number and kinds of organisms. This gallery will also feature the inner spaces that inhabit this life in the form of molecules called DNA.

The Human Brain is one of the largest exhibits in the entire museum which will expose guests to the wonder that resides in all of us, and how all these parts work to make us who we are. It will also feature consoles on memory, the senses and emotion, designed with interactive multi-media which will show what happens to our brains when for example, we are afraid, angry or in love.

Divided into three sections, Adaptations shows examples of organisms’ ability to adapt to their surroundings. It will feature the adaptations like mimicry, camouflage, co-evolution and bioluminescence.

This is a combined walk-through exhibit that features key species that evolved from the Devonian to Jurassic Period showing how life forms moved from sea to land, from land to air, and the evolution of the first mammals to what they are today.


The Human Story will feature a cave-like booth showcasing the development of the genus Homo over time through 3-D silicon models of selected hominids. It will also have a photo booth where visitors can take their head shots and view them as warped images representing their chosen hominid.


Bernoulli’s Principle shows the wonder of flight. It is a demonstration of the physics of flight with balls designed with baby birds.


Shaped like an X chromosome, Gifts From the Past: Chromosomes will help visitors understand what genes are. It will feature an interactive game that will discuss dominant and recessive genes.

Rooms of Life is a free-standing wall exhibit divided into beehive-like compartments that can be viewed from both sides. Each division will show representations of the different life forms according to the estimated number of species, with insects occupying the largest room and mammals inhabiting the smallest compartment of them all.
