The centerpiece of the Universe Gallery, this teaching planetarium can accommodate 50 visitors at a time. Guests lounge on space couches, reliving the backyard experience of lying beneath a canopy of stars.

Origins of Life
This show is an inspirational journey through time and a celebration of life. Starting with the Big Bang, the show deals with the prebiotic chemistry in the universe, the formation of stars and solar systems to the development of the first life on Earth along with our search for (primitive) life beyond our planet.

Nature’s Hour Glass


This mini-theatre inside the Earth Gallery acts as a virtual time machine and can accommodate 50 guests. Guests can enjoy two original Filipino-made films. Birthplace is a 3D, animated film on 4.6 billion years of Earth’s natural History. Ang Simula, is a 3D, animated film on 100 million years of the natural history of the Philippines. Shows are 15 minutes each.

The Mind Movers, or resident scientists, will further enrich your exploration with fun science shows and experiment demonstrations. Catch them at the Science Demo Area in the Atom Gallery or at another announced spot in the museum. During this time, you can also ask questions about any science topic that interests you or about any of the exhibits in the museum.
