Junior Mind Mover Program

July - August 2024

The Junior Mind Mover (JMM) Program allows kids to go behind-the-scenes of the museum’s galleries and exhibits, and get an exciting introduction to different kinds of science with the help of the museum’s resident scientists. They will meet new friends and make unforgettable memories in a program that will spark their curiosity and wonder for the world around them.

What's New This Year?

This year the Junior Mind Mover program is a five-day workshop camp that will strengthen the JMM's scientific thinking, reinforce investigative curiosity, and enrich their science communication through different hands-on activities, and skill-building tasks.

Each of the five days is an aligned topic to the FIVE GALLERIES of The Mind Museum:
ATOM, LIFE, EARTH, UNIVERSE, and TECHNOLOGY.

JMMs will perform workshops and activities that encourage collaboration, and problem solving. The program will wrap-up with a culmination ceremony to showcase the skills they have learned throughout the JMM journey.

Some of lessons in this curriculum: Maneuvering in the Laboratory, Space Training, Specimen Discovery Simulation, Why Do We Have Different Traits? and many more!
